How To Add Single Presets In Omnisphere

Delete Omnisphere Presets? Standalone version?

Though I like the search engine and the interface of Omnisphere, there are notwithstanding as well many presets. Is that possible to delete or remove some presets?

BTW, I take but updated one time when they released it. Tin yous utilize Omnisphere as a standalone version at present? I also institute it is taxing CPU very heavily. Is is better now?

Cheers!

I don't believe there is a stand-alone version of it currently. I agree that there are wayyy too many presets. I but tin can't become into that synth for some reason. The sounds are all way too produced and sleeky. It's a little over the top for my liking.... I establish information technology pretty CPU intensive too just that comes with the territory present

I was worried about patch overkill as well, but constitute it wasn't that bad on my CPU (Mac Pro unmarried processor quad core), certainly less than Alchemy. Equally far as the multitude of patches, try the "shuffle" function. Works but like an iPod.

That'due south right. I think it has manner too many patches. Almost of them are a bit too nighttime. I particularly don't similar patches which already have deep reverb printed. But if there is a way to delete patches that I certainly don't like, I can live with information technology.

Any thought?

There's no style to delete Omnisphere patches. But like another poster said, just use the star system or search to filter. You should update to the latest version as at that place are patch browser improvements (non to mention performance, stability, and synth engine/filter additions) I'm not certain why "besides many patches" is a problem. I think ane of Omni's great strengths is the fact that Spectrasonics gives y'all thousands of patches for the price of the synth. Virtually companies nickle and dime you for additions and don't give you a whole lot to start with. I call up Spectrasonics is a very customer-friendly company.

If you want a standalone version, you could always use a VST host. I've never needed one, merely I know there are freeware ones out there.

Yes! Omnisphere is at present stand up-alone!

Also, patches can be bypassed/deleted manually via Mac/Win filesystem.
